The Grand Canyon (Hopi: Ongtupqa; Yavapai: Wi:kaʼi:la) is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in the United States in the state of Arizona. It is contained within and managed by Grand Canyon National Park, the Hualapai Tribal Nation, and the Havasupai Tribe. President Theodore Roosevelt was a major proponent of preservation of the Grand Canyon area, and visited it on numerous occasions to hunt and enjoy the scenery. It is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. The Grand Canyon is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,000 feet / 1,800 metres) (From Wikipedia)

Hello Eleu,
I love this view of two flat surfaces far from each other and in between that majestic deep canyon where we can see all those different ground layers.
The inclusion of the people on the viewpoint adds some human interest and also gives an excellent sense of scale.
Nicely framed with the tree.

Hi Eleu,

I have a very similar photo as this one. We stayed in Grand Canyon for one and a half days. After a while, the views were looked the same.

Hello Eleu,
A good image, plenty of great colours and textures to feed the eyes! The inclusion of the people on the rock tower indicates some scale to the immense landscape.The amazing colours are well reproduced, and the image has a fine feeling of depth.

The wideness of this area of the Grand Canyon is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of this area of. the Grand Canyon. The late afternnon light is giving nice tints to the colors. Have a nice day.

People stood over the best veranda view over the canyon, Eleu.
Yet you taken this from an excelent perspective on the big rocks and through behind. Fine colors and DOF as we see layers from diff. era's.

lovely point of view and composition. The sense of depth is captivating, the tree on the left supports well the composition and provides great contrast. The sense of space and void is thrilling. I love the differences in lighting and colours between the near rock and the magnificent distant scenery. The play of blue tints is marvellous. Congratulations and thank you!

Sometime I would refreshing my memory. Is it the South Rim? This place looks very familiar for me. I like your idea to including these branches,it's an original frame for this so attractive landscape.
