Photographer's Note
In Balboa Park of San Diego there is an artists' enclave. This person was giving a demonstration of glass blowing. The orange glow is from his furnace.

Hello Animesh,
Good daily life scene of an artist. I can see his concentration well and everything important is in sharp focus and colours r nice. But maybe a smaller f/stop would be nicer because this bokeh is too blurred to see any informative detail of the glass blower at the back. Anyway, I like this portrait. Good job.

Very tight crop with short DOF Animesh giving just the necessairy elements for this standing portrait and what a nice OOF colorglow background.

We don't see too many color pictures from you Animesh, and this is a very nice example of your skills. The colors are very pretty, but I think there is a problem with the subject, because it would be difficult to guess the occupation of the person if there were no explanations.
I wish you a very good week-end - Izzet

There's a great synergy between the sweep of his arm and the curve of the tube through which he is blowing... and the bokeh of the 105! (I love this lens). But beyond that, indeed it is difficult to guage this man's occupation and surrounds solely from the photograph.

this is a terrific lens Animesh, so easy to see that.. the sharpness and the bokeh is just amazing. (i think it is the best portrait lens ever made by Nikon)
original one is better than WS ones i think, more clear.. i dont agree with master Keribar,
subject is quite obvious here imho..
very good environmental portrait.
Best.
