Photographer's Note
Funny how in my previous 2 posts, I composed the female sculpture as if she was trying to escape from a trapped box.
Now this time I'm actually posting a female sculpture trapped inside a real glass box - how strange is that!
I found this piece of artwork inside one of the new hotels on the strip, and I just had to capture it. Obviously its inside a glass box, therefore the glare on the glass is evident. I tried to limit it as much as possible, while still finding a unique pov.
Luckily the ceiling and lighting in the Hotel was just as photogenic with its funky colors and glass. There are two more photos in the WS if you're interested.
The woman is made up of Cable Wires, simple as that. Not quite sure what the meaning of it is. Perhaps its a metaphor, trying to say that we as people are trapped with all the technology we are using. That's my best guess.

Hi Craig,
WOW!! Three absolutely fabulous photographs of this amazing and colourful artwork! Sorry, but to me this is a much more exciting sculpture than the last one you showed us - but perhaps that's so much to do with the subdued lighting and the rich colours here?
You have coped with the glare off the glass case extremely well while the internal reflections of the artwork in the glass do, to my mind at least, enhance the image. And all three pictures are very thoughtfully composed. Remarkable too is how you have coped with the poor light - your exposure, colours and details and sharpness are absolutely perfect.
Like yourself, I'm not quite sure what the artist's "message" was but you've produced three brilliant photographs here, Craig!
Fabulous!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Craig, Strange artwork made from the cables. It looks rather amusing. Good presentation in spite of the difficult conditions. I like all the colours very much I suppose 5that she was p[laced in one of the hotels, surrounded by one-hand bandits.
Have a nice day

Hello, Craig!
This piece of art is fantastic, very original with all these wires forming the body of a woman; and it's very colorful, which makes the composition very attractive! You managed the light very well, and the effect of the glass is really not so big here. Wonderful job!

Hello Craig,
You avoided the reflections of the glass between you and the artwork skilfully and the reflections in the back and the top of the glass box on the other hand are a great addition. A really great artwork made up of all these colourful wires. The ceiling of the hotel adds some great and bright colours as well. Very well done!

Hi Craig,
The point of view is showing the details of the morden sculpture in the glass box. I like the effect of the light on the colors coming through the glass ceiling. Have a nice day.

Only after reading the note, realized the statue was inside a glassed box, Craig. Evidently, a fine photojob done here.
Unusual modern piece of art, with beautiful colors in harmony to its surrounding.

Hello Craig,
Las Vegas continues to amaze. Here too, with this electrifying lady wrapped in electricity cables. Three beautiful pictures of this lady who is much better dressed than many ladies walking around here on the streets.
Excellent work
Have a good weekend, groet Rob

Hello Craig.
A very impressive composition, with this work that undoubtedly reminds us of a body, under that dome all with a fantastic chromatism.
Very effective coloring, which highlights the details of the image.
Good management, both brightness and sharpness.
Very well done. I like it.
Enjoy the weekend.
My best wishes for you.

Hello Craig,
She must be a sister of the other dancer; I can see a resemblance in their giant bodies. Ha ha! This is another striking composition. The position of the sculpture, the colorful ceiling, even the glass box are all fascinating. This is very original and eye-catching.

Hello Craig,
Here's another sculpture that I find more interesting, because of the unusual material, than truly beautiful. You didn't mention the artist, but let me guess: it was a man. I wonder what the #metoo activists would think about this. Anyway, the colours of the sculpture and the surroundings inside the hotel make this quite spectacular, and how you handled the light and reflections is impressive.
Best wishes,
Gert

Ol, Craig!
Quanta coincid麩cia! Eu gosto muito dessas esculturas feitas com materiais inusitados, nos traz reflexes como a sua. O teto mesmo muito fotog麩ico, possui cores lindas e formatos geom騁ricos que deixam a composi鈬o ainda mais interessante.
Parab駭s!

Hello Craig,
My preference goes out to the female sculpture outside.
When I see this one, I start thinking what if the sculpture would suddenly become alive, stand up and chase the visitors ?
In a way I'm more intrigued by the colourful ceiling. It's not part of the exhibition ?
But I do like the reflected cables on the upper part of the box.
The picture is certainly very successful.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Craig,
it seems like a popular motif in Las Vegas, or you are seeing the naked bodies whichever way you look :)
I am not sure if this one is actually trapped or the box is rather for her protection from gamblers.
Great series, I wonder what will come next...

Ciao Craig
la tua interpretazione della scultura mi sembra giusta, non so cosa volesse trasmettere l'artista, per mi piace pensare la tua stessa cosa.
Molto belle le foto, tre versioni che ci mostrano bene l'opera.
Buon we
