The riparian trees and shrubs (bosque in Spanish)along the Rio Grande and adjacent canals in Albuquerque make for interesting walks and a great place to view waterfowl and wildlife.
Albuquerque is on a flyway and in the spring and fall the area is teeming with waterfoul.
