Hi Brien,
I do hope you shot this from your vehicle!! You've got amazing detail in mama and that's not a very big lens. It looks like Mama hasn't been awake very long and coupled with that cub in tow, she's bound to be very sensitive. I'm not sure but I do think she's a grizzly bear. You also did well in framing the bears in spite of the very difficult background....Pat
