Photographer's Note
In The Shadow Of The Phantom.
This photograph I dedicate to Nygus, the master of darks and shadows. Yes, he still resides among us, mortals.
He's the only one I know, who is able to use the emptiness of huge dark spots in his pictures to his advance and as a result - to bewilder our senses of perceptions.
I wouldn't dare to imitate him, but that phantom up there... That phantom !!!
To you, Swiatek. To the master who had chosen to stay in the shadows of his own works.
In the deep shades of shadows - shall I say ?...

Hi George!
Strange thing to take a building and cover it almost entirely with ultra big posters of advertising... Guess it's New York! But, it would be perfect for a mysterious phantom... I will not be the Christine though. My voice would not... well... inspire Erik! To tell you the truth, I've never heard the opera...
But, I see your photo! And what I notice first, is the very vivid colors. The white seems to me, to be a "pure" white. The black is pure black. And it is the same could be said for the red, the blue, the yellow and the green. No doubting the colors here. True, frank, direct colors.
In the same time, I feel almost jammed, in a very cramped space, no place to move. I guess the two white trucks help to give that impression. But also the towering of the building. You achieve to put many informations in a small cramped photo. And it nevertheless looks harmonious... like music I guess!
Are you the phantom of TE George? ;)

LOLS!!! Your "reposts" are full of surprise. I don't know how it's called in English, but you probably know about the little game where you have to compare two slightly different versions of the same photo and you should find the differences. In French, it's called "Cherchez l'erreur". Here, I see what you have added to my critique. I don't know why you say that I am the "voice of wisdom and sanity" because I've never heard the opera. Maybe it is because I am simply truthful! :)
The other differences are in the photo itself. And I won't reveal what they are! :))
