Photographer's Note
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Genesis 1: 1-4

Hi Mariusz
great splashes of sunlight on the canyon, despite the heavy dark cloud formations.
The clouds seem to be touching the canyon tops in the background
Great visuals here.
Well done

Hi Mariusz
Splendid vue and I like how the suns' rays just highlight a couple of parts and that the colours are so different. The ultra dark clouds add atmosphere too. Worth getting cold for.

Hello Mariusz,
What a spectacular shot! The POV is amazing and the morning light painting the rocks is gorgeous. The execution of the shot is perfect - the definition and sharpness is excellent from the foreground to the back and the filter is used very well here, the sky has so much texture.
Congratulations!

Grand Canyon.. once I was dreaming to go there..
You succeed and brought as an image of such an unusual charm.. endless horizon, depth of the Devil's whole once cut in the Earth to teach us humility.. such a beautiful light as from the centre of transcendent fire..
I don't know if I'll go there whenever.. the most romantic love must stay unfulfilled, someone told.. have the impression that at least partly, was right..

Hello Mariusz
Bright warm colour in a greyish landscape, we can't miss it.
You have a special photographic brain to take this shot, many of the ones taken at this place are not so eye catching.
My congratulations

Mariusz,
if your intention was to impress us.... well you did it!
I think your note is the best definition/assesment of this remarkable photo. You really painted this world with light, and you really show the marvel of creation. That dramatic sky is a fantastic complement to an extraordinary environment and those spots of yellow and pink are extraordinary focal points.
It's a photo that one likes to look at for minutes to appreciate all the clear and interesting details.
As a lover of landscapes I do like it a lot.
Really thanks for sharing such a beauty!
Best regards,

Hi Mariusz, having seen your previous post, a 360 degree view like this is just wonderful. How lucky you are to have been here. The light is superb, as is the dramatic sky. It is a brilliant piece of photography, although I would be interested to see the non-HDR version, as this seems somewhat overly sharp for my personal taste. TFS and have a great day, Lisa

I think this is up there as one of the best from GC, and I truly mean that. Must be a HDR? But still very dramatic, terrific light and colours, mysterious. It was my dream as a young boy to see this place - some idiot in the campsites lit a fire and it smoked out the whole canyon for the three days I was there!! Not happy but these pics do make a little up of what I could and should have seen.
Well done

Hi Mariusz!
This is stupefying! It looks like a lava eruption in the background, the colors are amazing, the view vertiginous and astounding! I love that! The dark sky, very dramatic, provides a strong contrast with the vivid hues of light on the rocks. remarkable management of light, for a big bang view! Congratulations!

No kolego, fantastyczne miejsca odwiedzasz.
Swiatlo i widok miales nieziemski.

A moソe jednak byles na innej planecie?

you've really, I mean really, managed to capture the grandiose aspect of this scenery. This isn't easy at all but your framing, playing with different layers of interest, and the way you've dealt with the light is stunning for sure.

Hi M,
this take me back to my wonderful trip here at the GC. I love the dramatic light you caught here. Even if the light is difficutl, you got really wonderful details of the canyon. You were also here at the low season, I was here once in November and it was supper cold but much less people.
Really wonderfu.

Hi Mariusz,
Thanks for linking these two shots together, they compliment each other magnificently! This is a really like a scene from Mordor, and the sun lighting up just the few rocks looks stunning. That sky is beautiful, but very threatening looking. Beautiful set of pictures.
