Photographer's Note

I have already mentioned it many times: I love postcards.
While I enjoy discovering unknown worlds or at least searching for original points of view to typical touristic attractions, equally much I like taking a challenge of producing my own good looking postcard from a classical POV.
I say: don稚 be afraid of postcards. They are fun. They teach other people about the world and if sent as a hard copy they remind them that you have thought about them on your trip. Postcards are simple means to share your experiences with other people and to show them your love.

By the way: "most" in Polish means "bridge".

Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate, the opening of the San Francisco Bay into the Pacific Ocean. As part of both U.S. Route 101 and California State Route 1, the structure links the city of San Francisco on the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula to Marin County. The Golden Gate Bridge was the longest suspension bridge span in the world when it was completed in 1937, and has become one of the most internationally recognized symbols of San Francisco, California, and of the United States. Despite its span length being surpassed by eight other bridges since its completion, it still has the second longest suspension bridge main span in the United States, after the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in New York City. It has been declared one of the modern Wonders of the World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. The Frommers travel guide considers the Golden Gate Bridge "possibly the most beautiful, certainly the most photographed, bridge in the world"

Witaj,

Dziś sąsiadujemy ze sobą. Byłam w San Francisco i oczywiście mam duzo zdjęć tego najslynniejszego mostu z r�żnych POV, ale jak to zwykle ze mną bywa, żadnego nie wysłałam, bo wydawały mi się za mało twcze. I am afraid of postcards! Ale Ty lubisz klasyczne widoki, w wyśmienitym zreszta wydaniu. Tak jak tutaj. Nienaganna ostrość, kolory, znakomity kadr. Ciekawe rośliny na pierwszym planie, być moze jukki lub aloesy.

Witaj Mariusz,

Superb clouds in the sky and original and very efficience presnettaion of this famous bridge. POV very well selcetd with the vegetation in the Fg which give a natrula frame and too a great depht. Ths superb bridge arise in the BG.

Yes, it's most photographed, and yet it's always pleasing to see its red and graphical appearance, especially when the photo is so masterfully composed and the sky is so interesting. I have to say that I never saw it taken from this POV before and I really like it. The lovely bushes in fg makes the image rich and add depth and the bridge taken diagonally assure a fine perspective. By the way: there are two diagonals, the one formed by the bridge and the clouds and the one formed by the green bushes in fg.
And the combination of green/red/white and blue has a strong and pleasing visual effect.
If I'll ever go to S.F. I want to try this pov myself! (:-)

rally the San Francisco's bridge is almost, the most photographed bridge in the world.I like its red painting, as contrast perfect with the other colours of the image,from this excellent chosen POV,from the land.

dobry tytul. Most fotografowany bardzo czesto, ulubiony temat na pocztowki (przyslal mi pewien Amerykanin). Ciekawe ujecie z tymi roslinami na 1szym planie. Bdb jakosc zdjecia.

yes, you certainly had a great day this day! the cloud coverage is excellent. when we walked across it, there was nothing but thick fog.
you're a clever man, using the foilage to the right to take up the dead space.
beautiful sharpness, and clarity from all edges to the centre. I'm jealous but also happy for you to get this shot!

Between you and Craig we're really getting an eyeful of these marvellous San Fran bridges. I like the POV here and don't necessarily think it's your typical postcard shot (not that there's anything wrong with postcards). Great colours, good depth and perspective. The curves are marvellous. I am back and had posted more about Ushuaia a place I visit following your postcards, I saw your Torres del Paine capture and decided to go for 5 days, made reservations on your hosteria and discover I need more than 5 days to arrive there, so we went to Tierra del Fuego instead

Love postcards and always when I travel I send some to a friend that collect them and also to me
Its fun to receive them!!

Hi M,
I don't know how many times I stood here at this spot when I'm in SFO. It is especially nice when this purple flowers were blooming in full. I guess not in the spring which is strange. They even look kind of death. Anyway, the clouds are just very nice here behind the hills and yet exposing the beautiful blue sky. Beautiful and natural colors and good compo.

Marvelous sight of the length of the bridge from a spot around the bank covered wuith lavish vegetation, Mariusz.
Red structure, grey big clouds and green plants made a nice combination of colors, in clear visibility day.
