Photographer's Note

Saddlebag Lake is popular with trout fishermen and hikers. Located just east of the Yosemite National Park boundary, within Inyo National Forest. Accessed by a short dirt road from Highway 120 - Tioga Pass Road. There is lodging a short drive down the eastern slope to the small town of Lee Vining.

The Lake is within the U.S. Forest Service area known as "20 Lakes Basin". Backpacking is popular here. The beginning of the hike follows the Saddlebag Lake shoreline. Going to the end of the Lake, the geology transitions from red volcanic rock to alpine meadows with wildflowers in late spring and early summer. As the trail ascends you may look back and see Mt. Conness and part of its glacier. Reaching a "Trail T" you may take the loop left or right. Total distance round trip is about 10 miles.

un'altra spettacolare immagine della California nella quale il paesaggio non finisce mai di sorprendere: laghi, deserti, coste oceaniche e foreste sono alcuni degli scenari che questo stato degli USA � in grado di offrirci.
Un'altro bellissimo esempio di quanto la natura sia varia in questa particolare e nota parte del mondo.

Hello Ray - The symmetrically composed landscape with reflections is attractively textured by both sky and mountains adding detail and pattern. Nicely composed with no wasted space or unnecessary elements.

Wow, surely this is what Panorama shots were created for, such a spectacular vista.
Your shot is balanced beautifully and the use of the horizon mid shot is perfectly.
I particularly like the way the wispy elongated clouds echo the patterns of lighter rock to the right of the image. Well seen and beautifully captured

You're capturing well this nature by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see the range bare rock mountain and clean lake in front of it. And, the reflection projected to the lake draws out a good effect.
