Photographer's Note
This brick church, nonstandard for New England, where most town churches are white clapboard, is the First Congregational Church in Natick. The church was founded in Natick in 1651 on a different site (now holding the Eliot Church), and the congregation moved to this site in 1799, building this church.
In addition to a church, the building also houses a preschool.

Hi Roger
An imposing massive building - your angle, symmetry and the overcast moody behind really gives this image an imposing atmosphere. The church looks great with correct verticals-horizontal lines precisely at 90o perpendicular and evenly placed and you do get the effect of just a superb brick walls and the stunning green spires just screaming for attention! These are part of the appeal here, and inclusion of the bare branches does make a nice little frame in the corners and their strkness adds to the mood of the image The overall contrast to deep white snow is just mouth-dropping, I think you have got the right recipe there. A remarkable capture and TFS

Hi Roger,
Throwing us a curve ball today, just when everyone thought it was safe to say 'goodbye' to winter imagery. :)Having grown up in a red brick house, I've always been attracted to this form of construction, and might I say, it works great here! A really beautiful church, even if surrounded by snow, and in the midst of cold temps. lol
Well suited for the vertical format, you've put it on proud display. Well detailed under the diffused light, this turned out nicely. Enjoy the rest of the evening. Take care.
Friendly wishes,
Jason
Haven't seen Andrew around in a while now, I'm sure he's been busy with life, which is always more important...but please pass along my regards.

Hello dear Roger
How interesting that most churches in this place are white clapboard. So this red brick church is unusual It actually reminds me a little of some of the churches I've seen in Glasgow. The snow makes a wonderful counterbalance to the rich red tones. I love the bare trees and the you did so well with the flat light conditions.
Warmest wishes
Lisa

Ciao Roger
Complimenti
Ciao e buona giornata
Romano
