Photographer's Note
Hello all, I got up extra early this morning to catch the sunrise. When I arrived at Carpenteria State Beach, only a few other folks were there, the surfers hoping to catch a few waves. In the far left of this scene is Rincon Point where the waves are so excellent. This view is from where the foot path meets the sand. This is looking south down the California Coast.

Howdy Karen,
Fine dramatic view of sunrise at Carpenteria Beach, wild flowers in the foreground, foamy waves, and the dense clouds. Subdued lighting before the sun rises higher in the sky. It stimulates me to body surf here, and relax on the sand. And per the weather reports you are enjoying very warm temps, as we are here in northern California with temps averaging 15 degrees above normal.
Thanks for sharing,
Cheers,
Ray

Hi Karen
Nice depth with the perspective of this beach, interesting contrast between this cloudy sky and the yellow color pf these flowers.

Hello Karen,
What a moody landscape presentation due to the stormy sky and cold blue tonality of the scene. Fantastic image, well taken! Thanks for sharing!
Best,

Hello Karen,
The layers and the diagonal lines in the picture
creates a lots of depth. The Flowers gives makes
the picture extra colorful and the dark sky
makes the picture extra exciting. In short: good
point of view, composition and light management.
Friendly regards,
Robert
