Photographer's Note

Here I was in the trail inside Bryce Canyon. The pinnacles were around and some of them had interesting shapes remember me many things. These formations made me think about a group of people waiting something.

Hi, Jorge,
I think when the autor of the famous artwork with the faces of the American president saw the shapes of the mountains, he thought about that idea not so long.
The upper part looks like its made from the gig rocks by people, and its has ideal horizontal lines.

Before I read your notes, I had already recognised how these huge, eroded pinnacles resembled people. Isn't it remarkable that this has happened quite naturally!
I love how the light has picked them out, revealing their relief, and how you have ensured that they are sharp against a vast b/g.

These rocks are absolutely fantastic, really looking like huge sculptures of human beings. They could have been the largest works of public art anywhere, much bigger than the moai of Easter Island and just as beautiful. You composed this very well by including so much of the magnificent scenery in the background. What a stunning experience this must have been.
