Photographer's Note

Fall River is a 10.5 km scenic river with many cascades over rocky slopes originating at Crystal Lake within the Rocky Mountain National Park, and at a high elevation of 3,511 meters.

Fall River empties into Clear Creek along Highway 70 west of Idaho Springs. The area is famous for its intense early mining activity, starting in 1859, as part of the Colorado Gold Rush.

Hello Ray,
impressive white water river. It hangs a little between a waterfall and a white water river although I hardly believe one can go with a boat over there.

Superb photo! It looks like a mountain river with the cascades indeed, but this view does not remind me the real big waterfalls. Good vertical format and fine DoF!

Hi Ray,
Combination of moving water and those rough rocks is charming. Exposure time is just right to give strong feeling of water flow. Dryish forest above looks very nice too.
