Photographer's Note

South Lake is located high in the Eastern Sierra Nevada mountain range, west of Highway 395 up Bishop Creek Road. In early November a snow fall has started the winter season. The Lake's water level is very low, and trout fishing is suspended.

Hello Ray,

The winter season started very early there. Gorgeous view of the mountains and the small lake. How great must have been to walk around there, on this sunny winter day. Beautiful picture.
