When I went through my archives on the occasion of the ongoing challenge on Facebook, I found this picture taken in 2011 at the Zabriskie Point in Death Valley, California. It really is a fascinating barren landscape.

A known desert scenery and a movie named on this place, Erling.
I remember vaguely this movie, but the view reminded me this for sure.
Well managed the bright daylight shine upon the hills, which have a same pattern altogether.

Very strange landscape indeed. Totally dead as the name suggests. And it is so strange to see natural landforms that are so orderly. Sidelight shows the landforms well.

It's a bit difficult to estimate the dimensions but I guess this area won't be small.

A beautiful tight frame has allowed us to concentrate on the amazing variety of textures and tones this landscape provides. It really is desolate, unforgiving and seems to go on forever.
