Photographer's Note
I know this photo is a bit of a clich�, but, after rushing down from Page, Arizona in the wee hours of the morning to reach Pima Point, I joined several others there to see if Mother Nature would bring her palette of paints to the sunrise. The chances were iffy as the blanket of clouds covering the sky seemed complete, but there was just enough of a break to the east to give us a few moments color.
ISO 800, 1/200 second at f/7.1, 50mm focal length
