Denali colour 1, a photo from アラスカ, West

Photographer's Note

I don't know whether it was just how the ranges at in Denali area or whether the light and showers had anything to do with it but along the ranges were an incredible range of colours so a short series on the colours of Denali NP.
This one speaks for itself with a rib of red rock running through a couple of spurs.

Hello Ian,
spectacular photo and landscape. The layering is excellent from the little river to the cloudy sky. The little part painted hills is an unexpected surprise.

The shapes and the colours of the mountain slopes look truly amazing! It's a breath-taking view from a fantastic viewpoint. The row of white peaks is wonderful too and it stands out well from the grey clouds.

There are several places on the earth with "painted hills".
Here they give a very special look with the snowy mountains on the background and the mossy plain in the foreground.
An excellent special scenic photo.
