Photographer's Note

This 1955 or �56 Chevrolet Bel Air is a common sight in American car shows. What is interesting in this photo is the little guy lifting his younger sister to help her see the interior of the car.

The workshop for this entry includes:
220 SE Automatic: A 60s Mercedes 220 SE Automatic parked along the railroad tracks. I wonder what is so heavy in the trunk that the rear of the car is so low. This Mercedes-Benz W111 chassis was produced between 1959 and 1971. The bodywork features distinctive American-style tailfins that gave the models their nickname, Heckflosse (German for "fintail").

Hi Murat

These cars look surprisingly old. Not an expert but I'd guess late 50's / early 60's? Good sharpness and the red brick clocktower at right adds a focal point. Tfs!

I'm not much into photos of old cars unless they are rusty wrecks but what appeals about this photo are the children looking inside.

So you moved from the mainly red area to the mainly blue. The little boy is well included, partly for his courtesy to his little sister, partly for the well matching colours of his clothes. I see that you treated the colors more gently this time. I appreciate that. ;-)
