I thought I would republish this picture from last 4th of July in Santa Monica. Looking forward to the next one. I'm getting tested tomorrow because I'm an old fart and because Los Angeles is doing good with their response to this dilemma. Stay home. Stay safe.

Hi John
I hope the result is negative! We can't afford to lose a K1 user from TE.
I doubt whether everything will be settled enough for a repeat of this good photo this year.

Beautiful beach well framed from this POV, the time of recklessness, even if the crowd is dense we would quickly find this atmosphere ... but we will have to wait and meanwhile stay confined ...

Hello John, Now we look at such pictures in a quite different way. Earlier: What a crowd, what a touristy place. Now: How nice to see so many people together. I am afraid we must wait a long time for such vies again. Fantastic sharpness. We could count people there :).

Fantastic view here. I think the umbrellas were not so popular there in my times.
Nice capture from the pier, fragment of which we can see here.
I like how wide and busy the scene is.
