Photographer's Note

I would visit Florida at least twice a year before moving here in 2012. I caught what I believe to be pure intrigue watching this little one see the sun come up over the horizon early in the morning. The Sun rises over this entire planet everyday with no thought of who deserves it. Wish the rest of the planet felt that way. Show friendship and love to all of humanity.

Hello Jimmy,

It's a beautiful photograph in every way, from the rich, warm colours of the sunrise, to the inherent curiosity of the small person!

It is avery well composed photograph, the silhouetted figure balancing the rising sun, perfectly.

I particularly like the depth of colour and the shiny textures of the wet sand, where the child's shadow is so eye-catching.

A great view of the sunrise, beautiful orange tones over the darker sea. Great reflections too. The child was well included on the left hand side.

Fantastic, evocative and romantic work, but this does retain a wonderful sense of depth and mystery. A lot of people don't find the beauty in poetry of life..

What an amazing image! The colours and light are wonderful but it also stands out because of the balanced composition with the sun on the right and the child on the left. And not just a silhouette of a child but a reflection in wet sand too.
Interesting musings in the note - certainly food for thought!
