Last fall in Utah I found this beauty at around 9000ft above sea level. I am sure this guy was heading south for warmer weather. That mountain water must have been cold....burrrrr

I just feel I might have suggested this was a crop too close, but not this time!! It is a magnificent close-up with wonderful details of the plumage and of the expression! You are definitely getting 'the eye' from this lady!
