Photographer's Note
Take highway US 93 north from Wickenburg and about 20 miles south of the town of Wikieup, just before you cross the bridge over the canyon, take a left to the sign posted Burro Creek Campground and Recreation Area. Burro Creek is a perennial creek who's flow varies from raging torrent is early spring to little more than a trickle by late May when I took this photo. I had headed upstream from the campground and this looks downstream. There are no permanent trails along the creek's edge as, as mentioned, the spring flooding as well as that during the summer "monsoon" wipes the border clean.
