A Douglas C-47A Skytrain plane, which participated in the 1940th berlin Airlift, now placed in front of the Traviss Technical College, Lakeland, near by the Florida Air Museum.

Hi Ike,
Very interesting view of the military version of DC-3. It is in a surprising place, not in a museum. Those trees give a good background. I see the grass is dry on the shady area.

An excellent photo from the side of this historic aircraft. The silver colours stand out well from the trees in the backgrond. Also the dark wing adds some nice contrast.
