Photographer's Note
This picture was shot from the top of Old Rag Mountain in Shenandoah National Park. The view is of the piedmont, the rolling land that stretches out towards the Atlantic Ocean. Old Rag is one of the last rock formations in the Blue Ridge heading east.
You have to rock climb and boulder hop to get up there so I could only bring my camera body and one lens.
On this re-post, I just ran it through Noise Ninja and then had to make it smaller to fit the website.
