Photographer's Note
You can't miss this mountain. At 14,259 feet, Longs Peak towers above all other summits around. In the summertime thousands hike or climb to Longs' summit. 50 other climbers have lost their lives on Longs Peak. It is not a mountain tolerant of the unprepared. The face seen here is about a 2,000 ft vertical climb.

Superbe lumi鑽e sur ce d馗or de r黐e! Les nuances de rouge-ocre qui contrastent avec le gris des cailloux est tout simplement parfait. Compliments!

Hi Steve,
Wonderful shot! The colors are incredible and the composition is excellent. Good sharpness too. I wonder if you did any post-processing work? And at what time of the day was this taken? Very well done! TFS

Hi Steve! Back in the mountains I see? This is the definition of the golden hour light and the reflection of the golden tones in the water is mesmerizing. Very well done!

2000ft eh? Maybe I should give it a try someday. Great shot and excellent colours. The view is wild and rugged. The orange colour of the rock is indicative of the type of rock or the sun hitting the face. Good and clear view of the water on the foreground. Lots of details. Thanks Steve.

j'aimais bien la premi鑽e version, celle ci est tout aussi 騁onnante dans les couleurs avec ce cadrage plus serr. le gris de la roche dans l'eau d'or, c'est vraiment magnifique!

Hi Steve:
Is this Chasm Lake? Fantastic shot of whatever it is. The Rocky Mountain National Park area has been on my list of places to go for a while, but it'll be a while yet. You did a great job here. The lighting is fantastic, and the composition is excellent as well. Great job.

Hi Steve. Spectacular. No wonder they called it Colorado-as the colours are so vibrant. The dark foreground really puts the mountain into sharp relief. The metallic tinges on the rocks are most attractive. Excellent PoV. Regards. Klaudio.
