Photographer's Note
Shot from 1000 foot televison tower.

It took me about 45 minutes to climb.
Shot with double lens reflex, 85mm, held out at arms length.

Wow! Reminds me of that famous shot of workers having lunch on a girder at the top of an unfinished skyscraper. The foot is a successful addition!

You made me really feeling dizzy! (Thien, give me one of those bags too!)
But you really earn these two points...
PS: Stunning! You climbed this tower in a suit and lacked shoes? ;-)

I really don't like this shot... I mean, yes I love it but I can't stand it... It's really too scary.
You did a great job. Congratulation.

Very nice job and like greg, I have to say that your foot makes a nice effect.

You took photography to new heights. The foot in the picture really gives perspective to how high you really were.

Amazing, the feeling of height is really special. I also particularly like some of the ground details, the fallen tree and the tire tracks. Wow!

Scary! Good detail to include the foor - and I like the incongruity of the office shoe up the top of the tower. Now come down off there!

I like this "anything for a good photo" attitude! Personally, I'm affraid of heights, so my admiration to this photo goes even further! Regards, Djenno

The scariest, most breath taking photo I've seen here.
You took 45 minutes to climb and how many to come down?

I really feel queezy looking at this. A fantastic perspective and not a place I would be rushing to take photographs from myself. Excellent shot.

Wow, I feel dizzy,
You should be very brave to sit so high from the ground Lee. Just incredibly.

Isn't it amazing, the power of photography?!? Like most who have seen this image, I look at it and I feel instantly dizzy. Queasy. Ready to faint. Sick to my stomach. All while sitting down in front of a computer. Yes, the power of photography to force our bodies and minds into certain feelings is incredible. Fantastic photo.

WOw.. this is scary..
Lee, excellent capture.Choice of B/W is good. Its like a satellite picture.
I dont know if the inclusion of the foot was intentional. But it is good.Looks like you just climbed with your usual clothes. 45 minutes to climb!.
beautifully done.

Lee,
Very Scary and I noticed the type of shoes you used for climbing!
It certainly is one way to get high!

The clothes give this one away.. today it would be trainers & jeans.
Rather you than me, mate!
Thanks, over a decade later, for this truly STUNNING image.

Edward
