Le Flatiron Building ("l'immeuble en forme de fer � repasser") est un immeuble de bureaux � New York, situ� dans Midtown Manhattan.

Avec ses 22 騁ages et 87 m鑼res de hauteur, c'est l'une des tours les plus c駘鐫res de Gotham City.

Il a 騁� b穰i en 1902 et il est situ� � un emplacement tr鑚 int駻essant, puisqu'au carrefour de la 23e rue, de la 5e avenue et de Broadway, face � Madison Square.

Cet immeuble a donn� son nom au quartier qui l'entoure, le Flatiron District.

Je vous le pr駸ente ici dans la lumi鑽e du soir.

Flatiron Building is an office building located in Midtown Manhattan, in New York City.

With its 22 floors and 87 meters high, it is one of Gotham City most famous towers.

It was built in 1902 and is located on an interesting place, where 23rd Street, 5th Avenue and Broadway cross.

The neighborhood around the building is called the Flatiron District after its signature building.

I show it here in late afternoon light.

Lorsque j'ai vu la vignette je n'ai vu qu'un phallus qui s'駻igeait vers le ciel,va falloir que je change de tisane!Tr鑚 beau job sous cette lumi鑽e.

with the letters in the front and the polarizing filter you almost get an unreal touch in this one. The phallic symbol is well placed asymetrically.

The light looks very nice, Jean Bernard, if perhaps not entirely natural--a city of our dreams rather than the grittier one of reality. A city where the fall-like color of the sunset light is just as pretty as the leafy fall color of the countryside. I wish the real city were like that! NIce composition, too. Regards, Ken.

un immeuble tr鑚 c駘鐫re de NYC, ici dans des couleurs chaudes (normal pour un fer � repasser), celles d'une soir馥 calme apparement et sereine sur le plan de la m騁駮.
Un excellent POV assorti d'un cadrage nickel et du format vertical ad駲uat.

This is one of the best pictures of the famous NY building here on TE. The vertical compo is superb and the colours are magnificent. They almost make me not to look to the small halo around the building. Well done.

Une prise de vue sp馗taculaire de ce batiment c駘饕re. J'aime beaucoup la lumi鑽e qui donne un cot� irr馥l � cette ambiance urbaine.
Le choix de la compo est tr鑚 bien pens�. Le cadrage permet de voir les deux avenues qui se croisent � cet endroit et des batiments � perte de vue !

Impressionnant cet immeuble sous cette lumi鑽e du soir chaude. Un posttraitement � ta fa輟n donnant ces couleurs particuli鑽es (je trouve quand m麥e la retouche un peu visible autour de l'immeuble cr饌nt une esp鐵e de halo et dans le ciel � gauche). Tr鑚 bon cadrage.

As usual the light you use has turned the stones of the Flatiron into gold. The off-centred composition works very well. There are lots on interesting NY details to see. Well done

un de mes buildings New-Yorkais pr馭駻駸, peut-黎re juste apr鑚 le Chrysler...Tr鑚 efficace comme d'hab. La lumi鑽e est belle et le cadrage (Lane Fire) bien vu. La nettet� est un peu trop renforc馥 peut-黎re, il y a un halo autour du Flat Iron...

Un b穰iment vertigineux, sur lequel la lumi鑽e du soir fait merveille.
Le POV que tu as choisi, au ras du sol, permet de profiter de l'ambiance de NY, avec son animation, les taxis jaunes, les nombreux pi騁ons.
Un bel ensemble.

Ton "fer � repasser" est sous une lumi鑽e de r黐e! Je trouve tr鑚騁onnant la nettet� que tu as toujours sur tes photos... Maintenant que l'on a 300 Ko, cela deviendra plus facile � passer comme cela! Tu as r騏ssi � avoir tous les feux au rouge!

Oh wow, wonderful. And then to know that they hold street races here. Or did in the past. I remember the circuit and the building from the computer games ;-).
Nice one. Quite contrasted! Must be interesting to have your office on the edge of the building with 3 windows to all sides. Nice view from up there.

C est l 'un des plus beau, on peut pas dire le contraire.J ai sur mon bureau juste la a cote de moi une photo de ce meme building prise au d饕ut du si馗le (pas par moi) et il n a pas chang� d'un poil. Seul le quartier a 騅olu�.Je n ai jamais r騏ssi a me mettre aussi loin pour le cadrer ainsi quand j 'y 騁ais , de m駑oire. Ce cot� grand angle est bien vu.
