Sea Lion resort, a photo from South Australia, West

Photographer's Note

The incorrectly named Seal Bay (the local seals like rock platforms not sand) is home to a large colony of Sea Lions who laze on the beach for a few days when the sun is out - this is after spending several days at sea feeding.
The view along the beach reaches to Nobby Island.

fantastic composition with wonderful clarity of the waves and sky. an excellent dof with light and colour management. i like lazy sea lions a lot too :) great capture, my compliments!

I though first to an catastrophe but lucky is this completely a other scene with the colony of Sea Lions in the sun.
Excellent perspective and depth image.
Sharpness and clarity are of high quality.

Hello Ian,

This looks every bit as good as the Oregon coast line in the USA which is much more well known. Good sharpness & superb colour & saturation. Nice repetition of all the rocky islands & a superb warm cold color contrast between the blue sea & sky, & the yellow red sand & rock. The diagonal shoreline provides dynamism. Almost didn't notice the seals. I would add a workshop showing a closeup. Tfs!
