Photographer's Note
Continuing this series from my Kangaroo Island trip in 2012, this time from Hanson Bay in the middle of the south coast of the island.
These sculptures were created by the ocean and not the wind as was the case with The Remarkables. Out beyond those rocks there is nothing but the wild seas of the Southern Ocean and the roaring 40s and eventually Antarctica.
Best in the large view.

Bonjour, cher Ian,
J'aime quand l'Oc饌n fou de rage vient se jeter contre les rochers des ctes en fulminant des chapelets d'embruns.
L'image est belle sans aucun doute.

Hello Ian,
I like when a still photograph seems to be portraying movement. Your photograph has captured the wave, just as it is breaking and the wind is lifting some spray from its surface.
In the f/g, the main, sea-sculptured rocks resemble a hound, with its mouth wide open, as if howling! It has excellent textures and subtle, co-ordinated colours.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)
