I think this lizard is a tree dragon. I came across him (?) in the You Yangs national park just south of Melbourne climbing on a wattle tree, oozing sap.

Hello Steve, Is it because it's an ugly beast that not one person has left a comment? complementary or otherwise, it must be, it's quite a nice shot, crisp, pin sharp & well composed, a beautiful nature shot.
