Photographer's Note
In yesterday's posting of trees regrowing after the fires the trees shown had hard rough bark that doesn't shed.
Today's 3 photos are from a different eucalypt species, one with smooth bark. These trees shed the burnt bark. You can see great sheets of barking peeling off the tree in the main photo. In one of the workshop photos you can see the pile of old bark around the base of the tree.
New growth on these trees isn't as red and soon turns green.
All 3 are best viewed in the large versions.

Hello Ian,
Three more interesting photos showing the rebirth of nature after the disaster. Especially the main photo is also a very eye-catching composition with attractive colours.

Hello Ian,
Isn't Nature amazing!
The regrowth on these charred trees is remarkable!
Apart from the beauty of the new leaves, I love the shadow patterns; so artistic!
Stay safe,
Bev :-)

Hi Ian,
Quite impressive to see so many fresh leaves coming right out of a charred black bark. And burnt bark peeling off looks strange too. It is wonderful how nature works in region where fires are normal.

The contrast of the green leaves in the black trees is wonderful and even stronger in this bright sunlight. Very well captured.

Hello Ian, Eucalyptus trees have this special ability to reborn after fires. And wildfires of eucalyptus forests are quite frequent because of the oils. In some countries the eucalyptus trees were removed because they are highly inflammable.
wonderful picture, with such a nice fresh green. Interesting also how the bark peels off.
Kind regards MAlgo

Hello Ian,
It is good to see the trees returning to life after the fire. Let us hope that social life will return to normal after this CV-19 pandemic is over. 👍🏻👍🏻
