Photographer's Note
This is the tallest building in Melbourne, called Australia 108. Why 108? I have no idea. I do know that it's 317 metres tall. The photo was taken from a park called Kings Domain on a sunny autumn day before the delta strain of covid-19 took hold of Melbourne.

Hello dear Vincent
this is the tallest building in
melbourne...but the high trees
decorating the foreground
add freshness and great beauty...
the fallen leaves create
a natural rug on the surface
of the ground

Hi Vince
A good way to view such a tall building - safely in a park. Well framed with the tower appearing from behind and between the trees.
cheers

Hello Vincent,
The building is quite elegant and you placed it well in the gap between the trees. The park provides a nice foreground and the colours are well saturated. According to Wikipedia it was originally planned to have 108 floors but had to be lowered because of regulations regarding flight safety.

Gert

HelloVincent,
I like your chosen viewpoint, where the beauty of the trees is highlighted, and though the skyscraper completely exceeds them in height, there is no feeling of power, more a sharing of the setting.
Excellent lighting, colours and composition.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Vincent, maybe 108 is the number of the floors, maybe the address, I don't know, but the photo is really beautiful, a preview of autumn with its typical colors on the trees and the largest and most metallic that stands above all, top quality as always. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hello Vincent,
A great shot of this skyscraper, I like its shapes as well as the way it emerges from behind the trees. The colour contrast between green and blue is also very attractive.

Hi Vincent
always nice to see some modern architecture in the big city, but also with nature and trees, its the best combination. Not all cities do this, but they should. Great place to sit and relax. cheers

Hello Vince,
The glass walls reflect the blue sky well.
Beautifully presented from the park that looks very calm.
It is good that there is green space in the immediate vicinity of the high-rise buildings.
We already find some beautiful autumn colours in the park.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Vincent,
May be it is th enumber of floors? Probably it is not tall enough for that.
Nice capture well combining the lush vegetation in the foreground and the modern architecture.
I am sorry to hear that Covid reached also Australia.

Hi Vince,
I like your composition that shows the building through the trees. It is interesting that not one person is to be seen in the park.

Hello Vincent,
This skyscraper must be new because I don't remember it from my time in Melbourne. In my archive I have a photo of another tall building that I photographed at the time.
Nicely composed photo where building rises above autumn trees. Wonderful picture as well as colors, light and sharpness.
Best regards,
Zbigniew
