Photographer's Note

An old church in St Paul's Terrace at Spring Hill. On the right is a flowering jacaranda tree, native to South America but does well in sub tropical eastern Australia. Maybe next time I will go inside the chapel?

Hello Chris,
It's a nice composition with a diagonal area of blue sky separating the jacaranda flowers from the brown building. I like the brightness and well saturated colours, but except for the discreet crosses I would not have thought this was a church.

HI Chris,only a pity shame for the two van included in the composition, rewarded by the beautiful inclusion of the purple jacaranda trees, original perspective to show this unusual church that looks like a residential building, it would be really interesting to see the inside too ... next time. The Jacaranda tree added great contrasting tone to the brown building, Chris.
Wonderfully lit picture, but needs a counter-clockwise tilt, In my humble opinion.
Will post a WS with correction if you will allow me.

Hello Chris,
I really like the impressive brick architecture of this large church and you juxtaposed it so well with the flowering tree on this side of the road. The bright sunlight was perfect as well.

Hello Chris, beautiful building, it doesn't look like a church, so maybe it would be interesting to see what is inside. I see also a nice bus stop. Fantastic jacaranda tree in full blossom. I remember the jacaranda alleys when I was in Jerez de la Frontera in Spain.

Hi Chris,
beautiful weather day and the purple jacaranda flowers look so amazing set against the blue sky. The buildings appear quite elegant. O am just a bit surprised that you didn't straighten the perspective but I suppose this was supposed to be looking up to the tree and sky.
