Sutton's Beach II, a photo from Queensland, East

Photographer's Note

Another shot of Sutton's Beach at Redcliffe, showing the piles of debris from the recent floods stacked in piles by volunteers reclaiming the beach. The water is muddied from flood runoff and unfit to swim in for a few weeks due to bacteria from drowned animals. Normally this beach is okay for a quick dip and far closer to Brisbane than the 1 hour drive to the Gold or Sunshine coast Beaches.

Hello Chris,
I remembered the piles of wood, but this time you have used playing children as colourful eye-catchers instead of red and white poles. It's still a very nice beach with the many trees providing shade.

Hi Chris,
Very nice setting with the forest starting just next to the beach. It adds a decorative element. I like very much the sky so well polarized with well pronounced clouds.
The family playin on the beach adds some life and more color.

Hello Chris,
A great view down the coastline and the beach with a wonderful sky with fine white clouds. The row of tall trees makes the perspective stronger as well. The piles of wood and the people are well included in the foreground.

Not a beach I've heard of (my relatives in Brisbane live down Manly/Cleveland way).
A good photo of the piles of debris - looks like some bon-fires will be coming up.

I like places by the sea with huge trees up to the waterline because they're very unusual for me.
Your photo shows the trees (or forests) continuing to the horizon.
