Broken Hill is a major mining town in the far west of New South Wales. It was the birthplace of the world's second biggest mining company BHP (Broken Hill Propriety).
Mining continues for silver, lead and zinc. Mining started in the late 19th century.
The town is full of interesting old miners cottages with photo shows a selection. The three single cottages have been renovated and are occupied whilst the pair of cottages on the bottom right are abandoned.

Hi Ian
The style of these workers cottages looks English. A superb quartet with good colour, sharpness and framing. Tfs!

Hello Ian,
Learnt something new, that the BHP corp. which I know for several decades actually named by this town, which established long ago.
Nicely combined the four photos, each of the houses has its own characteristic's.
Good afternoon,
Ike

Hello Ian,
It was only the lower left cottage that without doubt seemed occupied to me. I had my doubts about both those at the top. They all look nice, or once did, and they are neatly presented.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Ian,
Great collection of the photogenic cottages. Some of them have the characteristic verandas. Nice vegetation in the bottom left one.

Hi Ian,
The point of view is showing the details of the miners cottages. A good stich of the four photos. The light is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.
