On day 4 at Fowlers Gap as it started to dry out we were able to walk farther from our cottage. We came across a group of kangaroos that didn't seem too worried about us being reasonably close. The nearest one appears to have a joey in its pouch but it didn't stick its head out for us.
You can see the creek in the background.
In the WS is a photo of one of them that decided it had had enough of us.

Hi Ian,
Thanks!! What a gift for me :) They are so beautiful here and in the Workshop. Indeed, I think that there is a joey in the pouch. The mother shows an interest in the photographer.
Best regards MAlgo

Hello Ian,
It was a nice experience to get so close to these animals. The nearest one is looking straight into the camera. You had time for a very sharp photo, including the WS when one of the was running away.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Ian,
This is such a rewarding shot, seeing these animals situated happily in their natural environment.
Three is a perfect number for composition and the the photograph becomes immediately more interesting that the wild animals are giving you eye-contact.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Ian,
The vegetation is framing well the animals. The point of view is showing the details of the kangoroos. The colors and the sharpness are very good. Have a nice day.

Hi Ian,
What a beautiful wild life capture. 3 animals (and the invisible baby) in one shot. At least in the main photo they were so nicely posing for you. Fantastic group portrait in a wild environment.
Excellent work,

Hello Ian,
Yes, they seem quite relaxed. I must confess, I have not seen a kangaroo outside of a zoo. I like the lone kangaroo in the WS photo, in fact I prefer that one to the main entry.

ian
a marvelous moment of the animals in nature, free and enjoying life with its joys and difficulties. excellent views. I can imagine what the first europeans thought when saw them first time, a mix of dog and frog...
take care

Hello again,
They seem to be cute, but I heard that they can beat and kick like a boxer.
Best Wishes,
Gy.
