Wild coast, a photo from Southland, South Island

This'll be my last posting for a while as I'm heading to outback New South Wales and South Australia where communication is always questionable. I'll be back on TE in about a month, hopefully with lots of interesting photos.
Today - 2 more photos from Curio Bay showing the wild coast of that area at the bottom of New Zealand's South Island - good splashing waves and more seaweed in the main one.

It's slightly difficult to estimate the dimensions of this, but the rapidly running water among the dark rocks creates a lot of excitement. I like the tight crop of both photos.

The scenery is impressive. The point of view is showing the details of the arrival of the powerful wave on the coast. The light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice dya.

Hello Ian, the tight crop of this scene has created an abstract, in my opinion. The swirling water demonstrates the power of the sea.
I like the colour version with the green seaweed very evident.

Hi Ian,the black and white is a good solution to try but i prefere to see the colors of seaweed in the main pic,a great close up very sharp and bright from this very natural and uncontaminated coast,well done! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hi Ian,
Sea looks quite wild on this one showing white foam all around. Those rocks seem to make steps creating very interesting scene. Contrast is pretty extreme making light details of water harder to see.

The kelp reminds me of the Bass Strait shoreline of Victoria. Looks dangerous so I hope you were cautious. Good sharpness and tight framing. Tfs!

from this angle the stairs of rock looks like part of a waterfalls, not an edge of the sea. very nice these two images.
