Photographer's Note
When the rainy season begins in central Brazil it is natural fast showers in the afternoon.
My guide had explained me how the city was projected as a social experience, divided in sectors, as each super-block working as a little town, with everything someone needed being close of home, but I confess it was difficult to understand some details, in special the identification of the address.
In one of these super-blocks was one of the most curious buildings of the town. When the city was being built one of the daughters of the president JK became very sick and Dona Sara, the mother of the child, did a promise to Our Lady of F疸ima to build a church for her. The girl survived and Dona Sara asked to Niemeyer (an atheist) to create a model of chapel for free. He said the model was and imitation of a hat of nun.
Inside there were murals of a modernist Brazilian-Italian artist that were covered with ink some years after, I guess the priests thought the painting wasn't nice for a church.
The tiles around the church,in dark blue and white, are a creation of Athos Bulc縊 and shows swallows flying. As you see there was a mass in the moment. I will show you it after.

Hi Jorge,
Quite an extraordinary chapel indeed and now when you mention it -it does resemble the hut of a nun with its shape. In fact the dark sky helped to emphasize the white elements. You have well used the puddle in the foreground. Wet pavements are so photogenic as long as the rain stops...

Hi Jorge,
I really like curvy shapes of that building. Reflections from the wet pavement look very nice too. So you were on the right place on the right time.

Hi Jorge,
The presence of the worshippers is animating the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the chapel of Our Lady of Fatima. The surrounding light is bringing out the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Jorge, truly unique and very original, one could think of a shelter for travelers waiting for the bus but it is not so, congratulations to the architect for the courage of this chapel, I think unique and certainly questionable and criticized. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hello Jorge,
The shape of the nun's hat is clearly recognizable.
Seen from here, however, it is not clear whether all churchgoers remain dry during the many rain showers in Brasilia.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Jorge, yes, I can see the similarity to the headdress of a nun, an original idea that I never expected to see as the basis for a building.
Taken at night, the lighting shows off the details, probably even better than if you had taken this in the day-time.
Interesting notes, as always.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Jorge,
This looks more like a tent than anybody's hat. But it is simple and beautiful.
