Photographer's Note
After the museum I visited an amphitheater of Niemeyer located in the edges of the lake and took an Uber and came back to Planalto Palace. When I arrived it was the end of ceremony of the swap of the guards and there were some tourists taking photos, but I lost it.
In fact when I visited this famous palace I became surprise to know there are two different guards taking care of the place. The most famous one is the "Dragons of the Independence battalion" Calvary, created as a personal honor guard of Portuguese king when he was obligated to move to Rio de Janeiro in 1808, this guard became the one responsable to take care of our first emperor and it was with him when he proclaimed the independence. When the emperor was gone the famous uniform was swapped and in 1927 it was restored as a symbol of Brazil and the guard used it again.
These guards I am showing in this photo aren't so famous in the events, they are members of Caxias Battalion, infantry, created in 1823 and participated of independence war and the Cisplatina war, they were extinct in 1831 when the first emperor abandoned the power and recreated in 1933 . In the bellow link you can see the Dragons of Independence, the most famous battalion, in their typical uniforms during an event of swap of guards:

Hi Jorge,
The guards are well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details of the uniform of the guards. The light is making the colors to stand out. Have a niice day.

Hi Jorge
This pair almost look like statues. Well composed with the soldiers well off centre and looking towards the right.

Hi Jorge,
On the weekend day TrekEarth becomes even less visited than during the week. I suppose this is good, it probably means that people walk around hunting for new photo opportunities.
I like very much the colorful uniforms of these soldiers, They look like the tin soldiers, a good illustration for a fairy tales.
Very well spotted,
M

Hello Jorge,
A lovely minimalist photo. The colorful jackets and hats in an otherwise colorless frame makes this photo striking.
Regards,
