Photographer's Note

I was near the gate of a big public park when I noticed these two guys with this supermarket cart. You can see some empty cans of aluminium in the bag, they probably were hunting them in the region to sell. Would be they homeless ? Would be they people who lost the job because pandemic?
During the 1980's Brazil was in a deep social and economic crisis and there was a rock and roll song (By Ultraje a Rigor) whose lyrics talk about the low self esteem of Brazilians in those days. Looks similar with nowadays: Check the lyrics and heard the song bellow:

We don't know how to choose a president
We don't know how to take care of ourselves.
we even don't know how to wash the teeth.
Some gringos think we are homeless,
WE ARE USELESS!!
We produce cars, but we don't know how to drive.
we produce rails, but we don't have new trains to use.
we produce babies, but we aren't able to educate them.
We borrow, but we can't to pay
WE ARE USELESS!!
We produce music, but we can't record it.
we write books, but we can't publish them.
we produce plays, but we don't get to stage them.
we play soccer, but we aren't able to win.
WE ARE USELESS!!
