In Bahia we also have the statue of the open armed Christ. The guide told me that, some time ago, there was a mayor who really liked Rio de Janiero, and, therefore, copied many aspects of the city of Guanabara Bay to the city in the state of Bahia, including the statue of Christ, the Redeemer. This beach we see on the picture, despite being pretty, is not well cared for, and ends up infecting the tourists who unknowingly decide to swim there. Some people near us, on hearing the guide explaining about the dirty water, immediately started to rub themselves.

Deve ter dado uma pregui軋 de colocar o Cristo mais alto, ent縊 ele ficou por a� mesmo, ao n咩el do mar. De qualquer jeito, ele tamb駑 tem uma bela vista! O POV � muito bom pra mostrar a beleza do lugar!

Kip koji mnogo snaci, lepa palaza, dobar tekst. Pravi trenutak snimka ove lepe fotografije, dobrih boja i postignute ostrine sa prednjim planom koji krasi ovaj dobar rad.

linda vista, o misto de cristo com banhistas ficou um tanto inusitado. belas cores, bela vista do local, boa luz e enquadramento. realmenmte a linha de sujeira parece vis咩el no meio da 疊ua, uma pena que um local t縊 bonito n縊 esteja protegido

Suponho que deve haver mais est疸uas de Cristo Redentor espalhadas pelo Brasil. At� em Lisboa, Portugal, foi copiada a famosa est疸ua do Rio.
Esta est疸ua est� inesperadamente baixa, t縊 perto da praia e dos banhistas.

A manuten鈬o da 疊ua no Brasil, ainda � algo a ser feito. A coisa mais simples que existe, � despejar o esgoto das cidades no mar ou nos rios, e embolsar o dinheiro dos contribuintes.

Hello Fabiano,

I thought that only the Corcovado hill had on its summit the famous Christ the Redeemer, and this picture proves to me otherwise! A beautiful beach where tourists are under good protection ... Natural colors and light are very pleasant. Nice look, thank you Fabiano.

The photographer draws with his eyes, the background is interesting but the foreground need someting to attract the glance.
I think that the statue is an important element, it's better to not center it.
I have done a WS for some adjustments

Pobre do Cristo, aqui est� na areia da praia e em uma foto postada recentemente pelo gilbertom, haviam duas est疸uas, bem primas, concorrendo entre si. A imagem est� lind﨎sima, cores espetaculares, uma ampla vista da praia ornada por coqueiros. O que n縊 se v�, voc� escreveu na nota, a polui鈬o, a contamina鈬o ambiental.

Ola Fabiano and many thanks for your critiques on mine.
A smart mayor to this beach town, brought a replica of the famous statue, like in Rio, among other objects, as you mentioned. Its shining white structure contrast beautifully against the sky and sea.
Fine clear view across the bay, colorful parasols added vivid tones, and people on the shore gave life to the scene.
