Dunes of Genipabu, a photo from Rio Grande do Norte, Northeast

Photographer's Note

In spite of all the problems of TE and the neglect of its owners, I decided to reconsider my decision of leaving the page, thanks to the friends who remain here, resisting the decay and the imminent closure of this space.

Here is another photo of my last trip just before the quarantine. The dunes of Genipabu, in the municipality of Extremoz, are a classic one-day tour from the capital, Natal. Buggy rides through the dunes, pioneers of the style in the country, are famous for the option "with or without emotion", as is usually asked by the guide before departure. The option "with emotion" is not recommended for those who may be a little afraid of the most radical maneuvers when descending the dunes at high speed.

Glad to see a new picture from you. A good photo of this car, speeding through the dunes. The red colour stands out well from the background and the smooth shapes of the sand look good as well.

I was sorry to see you leave, so now I'm very pleased to see you remaining here.
The red vehicle crossing the sand dune makes this a very eye-catching photo. You managed a successful panning shot with the car very sharp and enough motion blur to give us an idea of high speed. I wonder if this was with emotion. ;-)

You have captured well the movement of the vehicule. The point of view is showing the details of the Buggy and of the sand dunes. The light is giving good rendering of the colours. Have a nice day.

N縊 sou muito comentarista aqui mas fico feliz de saber que voce continua com as belas fotos mostrando o Brasil e America do Sul. Deve ser bem prazeroso este passeio (sem emo鈬o) nestas belas dunas de Genipabu. Gostei da foto e do panning aqui. Belo resultado e bela foto.

Hello Alexander, I am pleased to see you back here.
This shot demonstrates your skill at panning, the buggy is in sharp focus whilst the dunes are blurred, suggesting quite a speed, and I notice some hair flying in the wind, from someone sat by the man in the back.
The red buggy is a good eye catcher.

Beautiful picture from the dunes, motion of the buggy superbly depicted.
Never consider to "punish" yourself for any web-site mistakes.
With all the difficulties, TE is still a unique place to any photography enthusiatic. My humble opinion about what you had written.

I was also irritated by the recent troubles and decided to leave the site, but maybe Ilike you, I will come back. Funny view of this red car on the sand dune. Probably it doesn't go very fast that the guy is sitting like this. Nice picture.

I fear that the problems on TE have become even greater in the meantime but I'm very glad that you're back.
In Portugal there's a town with almost the same name as here: Estremoz. Perhaps differently pronounced.
The option 'with emotion' is probably audible from afar.
Isn't there much screaming in the buggy?

Hi Alexandre,
I am so glad you decided to come back, or at least give it a try. This website is dying but we make everything to keep it alive although I think the death may happen quite suddenly and the website stops to exist. So there is something ironic in the fact that we keep using the website as if nothing has happened.
Great panning photography. I like the setting of the dunes. The photo certainly conveys the feeling of adventure.

por outro lado andei numas camionetes malucas no cear� e numa delas os turistas se acidentaram. lindo flagrante de velocidade nas dunas.

Sin duda un paseo idilico con este Buggy, su color rojo destaca de maravilla en la arena dorada, entiendo bien como es un paseo con emocion, pues este a estube en Dubai y nos dieron un paseo por las dunas del desierto, con coches 4x4 a gran velocidad, subiendo las dunas mas altas y derrapando cuando toman una ladera con mucha inclinacion, yo en el asiento del copiloto pase auntentico miedo, me parecia que en cualquier momento ibamos a volcar, este paseo se ve mas relajado.
Color estupendo, luz espl駭dida y excelente claridad.
Muy bien hecho. Lo disfrutamos
