It isn't easy to transport this very heavy cement vase across the town, but these painters got.

The tittle of this image is a homage to the new year and to a very famous Brazilian song of 1970's created by Belchior and sung by Elis Regina.
"Como Nossos Pais" is a song about the generation of 1960's who dreamed and wanted to change the world but became older and were doing exactly the same of the former generation. One of the last words of the long lyrics says...
>>> But is you who love the past and can't see the new is ever coming.
Now I know who gave me the idea of a new conscience and youth,
is at house, protected by God and counting the mammon.
My pain is the understanding,
despite the everything we did,
we are the same and we are doing the same our parents did. >>>

The singer died by use of drugs and the composer died when his heart exploded after an own exile running from the debts.

Una curiosa imagen con el quehacer en la ciudad, del dia a dia en esta foto los trabajadores llevan una pesada en la moto, no muy seguro para su integridad.
La letra de la cancion me parece nostalgica y mas bien triste, como el final del cantante y autor.
Buena luminosidad y nitidez.

Nice record of daily life in your hometown. However, if you think the way they're carrying this vase is strange, you should see some photos from India showing how they load up their motorbikes.
