Nossa Senhora do Amparo Church is a Catholic church in Diamantina, Minas Gerais, being one of the oldest in the city. Historic church, probably dating from 1728. and built by black members of a brotherhood, it is considered an important tourist attraction in the city. Church of Our Lady of Amparo.

This is such a photogenic town, every turn of the street seems to offer great photo opportunities.
The houses are so charming, having the same style but each different.
The church id of course like a cherry on the cake, small but so beautiful.

This is a very nice little chapel at the end of another pretty street. The windows and doors of those buildings are attractive and they all seem to have their own colour. As usual this is a well exposed photo.

There is apparently no shortage of picturesque sights in Diamantina.
The few small white clouds in the blue sky make a splendid backdrop.
