Photographer's Note
This is Rio Novo (New River) to 200 meters of Andrade e Silva district, distant of the center of Avar thing of 15 kilometers in straight line. The first name of the city was Rio Novo. "The Town of Rio Novo was high to the city category with the name of Avar in 1891."
That district was (40 years ago) train stop (Estrada Ferro Sorocabana - EFS). Observes a box (round) of water the close left to a house, where the trains were supplied of water. Today the district should not have more than 100 inhabitants!
Logically that river that gave the 1st name the city was.
The direction in front is east.
Thank you for the visit!

Beautiful composition, it could be an oil paining. Great insight into the rural Brazilian landscape. I assume that the colors were very strong, but I still find the image a bit over-saturated.

Hi Jose, You placed this river very good. I like the dark blue of the water and also the red lines in the field at the left. Regards,
Paul

I like this picture very much although I think it is a little too saturated. The composition is charming with the river leading us into the landscape and the large sky leaving us a bit lonely in a huge space.

How could we get bored by such wonderful colors (even if they seem her a little oversaturated !). The landscape is superb and I like the grassy textures of the fields. Nice reflection of the sky on the water. Superb sky in the background. Very well done !

Hi Jose,
This landscape is beautiful.
The foreground river is perfect and the sky is nice.
The green and red grass add a lot of colors to the shot.
The colors are may by over-saturated and the picture could have been sharpened a little bit.
The centered frame is a good choice for that picture.
Bravo !
Amicalement,
Michal

Hi Jose
Well, I started to like your landscape shot which are well cpatured with vivid color.
This is one good shot which produces such exquisite colors of mother natures.
The greens are truely green, the blues are truely blue and the rivers are truely nice with this shot.
Again, well done, Jose.
