Series on CAMPINAS - State of S縊 Paulo - The Southeastern Region of Brazil - The City where I've been living for more than 22 years - #001 !

Lﾁ VAI O BONDE/ELﾉCTRICO - THERE GOES THE TRAM/STREETCAR - This picture was taken on a bright and sunny morning at the "PARQUE PORTUGAL" (Portugal Park), also known by locals as "PARQUE TAQUARAL" (Taquaral Park). It's a pretty pleasant spot in the city where I've been living for more than 22 years! Trams used to be a means of transportation in the city some decades ago, however, today it's just a touristic attraction in this park! A nice city souvenir from the past! On sundays they're specially crowded with families and children enjoy them a lot!

THERE ARE TWO WS VERSIONS IN HERE - A closer view of the tram and almost the same view, but in the vertical format ! Thank you all for passing by!

it is a pity that the tram has been abandoned especially in times of global financial crisis!

Hello Neyvan,
this is a very familiar photo to me :) I remember posting a critique, I liked it very much for its "green" sunny cheerful mood and for a very good composition :)
After looking at the images in the WS I really am puzzled which format I would prefer as the main post: the vertical or the horizontal!... imho, the vertical is a bit better because it shows more space above, it gives a sense of freedom... whereas the horizontal format places more accent on what's going on below, on the tram.

The green tram is nicely complemented by the greenery of the lovely surroundings. The image has a pleasing summery feel to it with people enjoying the sunshine and the benefits of an afternoon spent in the park. Some interesting light and shadow play along the path.

Fant疽tica, Nevyan. Mais uma vez. Est疽 a re-construir uma bela galeria, para prazer de todos n ;-) Adoro o verde que se respira aqui e o PDV escolhido � perfeito assim como o 'timming' de captura. Gosto das 3 fotos, n縊 sei qual delas a melhor. Gosto do grafismo da ramagem na op鈬o vertical embora seja mais agrad疱el ver a maior aproxima鈬o do bonde aqui. O detalhe no WS1 tamb駑 � excelente, pelo grafismo do al軋do lateral, pela express縊 facial do 'motorista' e pela leitura da palavra "Portugal" hehehe.

I think the version presented is as good as the ones in the ws.
Fine way to present the tram in this way - maybe even a view to see the open entrances at the side had been interesting to see.
