Canoa Quebrada beach, a photo from Ceara, Northeast

Photographer's Note

...Just below the equatorial line, this stretch of the Brazilian coast has no winter, nor cold or bad weather. It has some rainy months when arriving, bless the beautiful coconut palms, cliffs, and lagoons surprisingly nestled between enormous sand dunes. During the rest of the year, the brilliant blue sky magnificently appears and the native inhabitants smile with the satisfaction of those who posses a small piece of paradise.

...Canoa Quebrada: this old fishing village in Aracati was discovered for tourism in the mid 70ｴs by a group of hippies that enjoyed the hospitality and were received by the natives of this cinemagraphic location, just 175km from Fortaleza. Today, besides the eternal overwhelming landscape, the greatest attractions to enjoy the strong sun are the dune buggy tours through the sand dunes along the beach and the red cliffs, and the refreshing dives in the calm blue-green ocean. Reserve a day to sail on the (native fishing boats) jangadas, another for a horseback ride along the beach and forget the clock; just let the wind guide you through the deserted sand dunes. For the more adventurous souls, how about kite surfing, cliff gliding, capoeira, or adventure through the fishing villages during long walks as well as discovering ecological trails that cut through Canoa Quebrada. When the sun begins to decline, run to the top of the dunes and you will witness one of the most spectacular sites in the northeast. They say that this sunset seen by lovers results in marriage! After this entire energetic SPA, rest a bit because the nightlife, the hottest event in Canoa Quebrada is about to begin.

il contrasto tra il blu del cielo e il rosso della terra, accompagnato da una bellissima inquadratura, sono la chiave vincente di questo tuo scatto.

Que preciosos contrastes de color entre el rosado de los acantilados, la dorada arena y ese fabuloso cielo, incluso el mar tiene un color mas verdoso, gran perspectiva de esta gran playa que se pierde en el horizonte y que gusto, sin gente.

A costa cearense � realmente um espet當ulo. Estive l� este ano, mas n縊 em Canoa Quebrada. A nitidez e o enquadramento real軋m a beleza da costa alaranjada. As estruturas de palha s縊 bem t厓icas e ficaram bem retratadas. Coloquei algumas fotos do Cear�, tamb駑. Parab駭s e abra輟s mineiros.
