Series on my trips to ILHA BELA (BEAUTIFUL ISLAND) - Northern Coast of the State of SﾃO PAULO - SOUTHEASTERN Region of BRAZIL - From June 30th to July 1st, 2012 and from November 5th to 8th, 2014 - # 045 !

DARK AND COLD WATERS OF A CREEK NEARBY BONETE'S BEACH, IN WHICH IT ENDS!

A wonderful sunny day, not too hot, so appropriate for boat ride and a day just relaxing by the sea!
Here's the BONETE'S BEACH, one can reach by a four wheel drive vehicle, by boat or trekking! That time I chose a boat ride and it was quite enjoyable, going around the island along its southern tip in order to reach tha semi-isolated tropical paradise!
This picture was taken pretty close to the beach, going uphill, where the waters of a creek would flow slowly towards the water of the ocean!

I was in ILHA BELA for four times: 2005 (first time), 2007, 2013 and 2014 ! I'll be back for sure, although there are so many other places I want to visit or revist!

Once more, visiting ILHA BELA! I arrived there on december 5th and, as the weather forecast had told us, it would be cloudy and rainy in the morning, but it would be better in the late afternoon and on during the whole week-end! Fortunately, it was precisely correct and the following days there we had such a wonderful time and I fell in love with this island again!

Ilha Bela has more than 40 beaches and 365 waterfalls! It's the third largest island in the brazilian coast and the one that has the highest peaks, ancient volcanoes: BAEPI (1,048 masl), PAPAGAIO (1,302 masl) and SﾃO SEBASTIﾃO (1,378 masl).
It's official name is ILHA DE SﾃO SEBASTIﾃO (SAN SEBASTIAN ISLAND).
It's got a STATE PARK where 3% of the remaining MATA ATLﾂNTICA (Atlantic Woods) of the State of S縊 Paulo is preserved!

Parfaitement cadr馥 cette vue avec un bon effet du premier plan et ce seaux limpides qui laissent voir les rochers, magnifiques teintes, c'est bien fait.

Hello Ney,
A delightful composition with lovely lights and beautiful natural colours. The still waters of the creek invite us to step in albeit the bottom looks a bit rocky.

On aurait envie d'y plonger les pieds dans cette eau limpide. Un beau point de vue tr鑚 bas qui pousse le regard au loin vers la verdure et le ciel.

Nature at her very best!
The still waters are amazingly clear but with the added interest of sunlight reflections.
Your low pov has given a superb sense of depth.
