Diamantina before sunrise, a photo from Minas Gerais, Southeast

Photographer's Note

In the quiet and safe historic city of Diamantina I woke up at dawn and went out to take pictures with the camera and my tripod without any problems and without being disturbed by all the days I spent in this pleasant city. Friendly and hospitable people and delicious food every day. It was a very pleasant stay at Pousada Ouro de Minas, right in the city center, also close to the Tourist Service Center.

Na tranquila e segura cidade histica de Diamantina eu acordei de madrugada e sai para fotografar com a m痃uina e o meu trip� sem problemas e sem ser inportunado por todos os dias que passei nesta t縊 agrad疱el cidade. Povo amigo e hospitaleiro e uma comida deliciosa todos os dias. Foi uma estada bem agrad疱el tamb駑 na Pousada Ouro de Minas, bem no centro da cidade perto tamb駑 do Centro de Atendimento ao Turista.

Nice photo with a good depth effect with the perspective of the street, nice FG with the ground and the pavement, good management for the lights capture, pleasant architecture with in particular the blue tone for doors and windows, tfs.

Hello Ricardo,
The buildings are very pretty and the street lights are nicely reflected in the paving stones. I also like their uneven shapes. It's a well exposed photo with a fine atmosphere.

Early in the morning can you make the best pictures.

A really nice view from the town at night, it looks very quiet and peaceful. The houses and streets are nicely lit, which adds a nice contrast with the deep blue sky. Good sharpness also.

The street tiling is striking with its very large stones of irregular shape.
Wonderful architecture with many decorations at doors, windows and balconies.
Well shown in an attractive blue hour picture.

Hi Ricardo,
That was a great idea to enjoy the morning blue hour! I started to think about it more and more. Evenings can be dangerous since people may drink and party into the night but in the morning everybody falls asleep, the light is the same as at the dusk but streets empty and maybe safer.
Fantastic capture here, the houses so stylish, having a unique design.
Sky has a perfect color.

It seems like you were the only person awake in the town while you took some photos. :-) I like how the sky is still dark blue in this shot. The prominent building in this scene has lovely details; I like the doors and small grilles on the second level. Take care!
