Photographer's Note

Roberto Burle Marx is the most famous landscaper of Brazil, who created many beautiful gardens in Rio de Janeiro and Braslia. Once he thought why Brazilians didn't use their own plants in gardens instead of the foreign plants ?
This huge square, created in 1970, is located few meters far from the gate of headquarters I showed you before. It is told Burle Marx was visiting Cristalina city where he and his assistant Haruyoshi Ono saw the local crystals and became fascinate by them and were inspired to create these gardens, using plants of Cerrado (Brazilian Savana).
There are some islands in the geometric lake and I presume the view during the day light is amazing too.
.......

Essa imensa pra軋 fica localizada poucos metros adiante do portal do quartel do ex駻cito que mostrei antes.
